The assistant in your own voice

From the Pro plan the assistant can speak in your own voice. Your customers hear the voice they know — which counts for a lot in a one-person business.

How:
1. Record yourself. Half a minute is the minimum, two minutes is better. Somewhere quiet, speaking continuously, about anything.
2. Settings > Assistant > The assistant in your own voice.
3. Tick the declaration and upload. It takes a few seconds.
4. Then select it separately, so the assistant uses it.

Why a separate step: hearing your own voice on the phone is surprisingly odd. Better to listen first, before it goes live.

Important: using your voice does not mean the assistant pretends to be you. It still says at the start of the call that it is an assistant. That is not caution but fairness — the caller has a right to know who they are speaking to.

You may only upload your own voice. Uploading someone else's is unlawful.
